What Is a Princess Party?

A princess party is a themed event popular for birthday parties and other children's gatherings. Most often princess parties are thrown for toddler to preteen girls, though boys sometimes attend or ask to have their own.

Princess performers are hired as entertainment. These impersonators are trained to portray princess characters based on fairytales and classic stories and attend parties in costumes or dresses that strongly resemble that character’s attire in literature and film. A princess party performer will interact with children using the iconic personality of the princess.

Other customary things for hosts to arrange for their child’s princess party include dress up, games, storytime, and sweets and themed foods. The event space is usually decorated by the party host to correspond with a favorite fairytale or a character’s color scheme.

What will the princess do at the party?
Our princess will make a truly amazing entrance at your party, and, depending on your package size, can engage with your children in a variety of activities. These can include one-on-one interactions, storytime, games and prizes, crafts, magical makeovers, photo opportunities, goodie bags, and even a special prize for the princess of honor!

I am holding my event outdoors. Is that ok?
Sure! Our princesses love being outside. Unless there is a storm… Then they’re too smart to be outdoors.

How do you price?

Is there an additional fee for having a princess travel to us?
Nope. Everything is included!

So the rate you give us is the rate? Are there any additional charges?
The rate is the rate—prices are “out-the-door.”

Do we need to put down a deposit?
Yep. 50% down when you sign the contract to hold the date.

Do you offer a discounted rate to non-profit organizations, schools, and other special groups?
Absolutely! We can tailor any event for these groups and provide a cost-effective solution for your fundraising needs.

How far in advance of our event should we contact you?
Our princesses are busy. Like, really, really busy. Attending parties and royal balls in so many different kingdoms takes time, after all! Don’t worry, though—you’re on the royal party list, so we can do parties with as little as three days notice, assuming we have availability.

What if something comes up and I have to cancel?
If you cancel 21 days or more out from your event, we can refund half of the deposit. Less than 21 days out from your event? We keep the deposit. If you cancel within three days of your event, we have to collect the entire fee. However, we will always try to reschedule any cancellation with more than seven days’ notice.
